Eagleridge Enrichment Program is a program
provided free of charge for homeschoolers by the
Mesa Public Schools.

This enrichment program provides weekly services to approximately 500 homeschooled students from throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. Eagleridge offers a grade-level grouped rotation program on Wednesday or Friday (8:30 to 3:30 either day).

Wednesday or Friday One-Day Program Description:

Kindergarten, first and second grade students attend a one day per week program, in a self-contained classroom setting. Students receive instruction through integrated, thematic units. Students go to specialists for P.E. and Music. Students also go to the computer lab and library with the regular classroom teacher. 

3-8th grade students are grouped by grade level and meet one day per week to rotate
through hour-long classes that include:

 Music Mania!, Science Explorers,Clay, Paint, Drawing & More!, Creative
Technology
for Kids!, P.E. Fun! and Author! Author!
(7th & 8th graders do not have Music Mania on Wednesdays, but do have
Student Council and are responsible for designing and creating the
Eagleridge yearbook).     

All children from a family may come as a group on the day of their choice.

A parent curriculum room is available for textbook check out. Texts and curricular materials may be checked out for the school year for any child enrolled in the Eagleridge Program.

Students may be concurrently enrolled in the Mesa Distance Learning Program's
K-6 Online Program and the Eagleridge Enrichment Rotational Program.


On Mondays, and Tuesdays/Thursdays the Block Program
is available to students. The Block Program provides students
with choices such as Renaissance Math, band, Spanish, computer keyboarding, aerobics and much more. 

Monday or Tuesday/Thursday Block Program Description:

Kindergarten, first and second grade students may choose between a two-day per week program on the Tuesday/Thursday Block schedule or a one-day per week program on Mondays. The primary programs are held in a self-contained classroom setting. Students receive instruction through integrated, thematic units. The Tuesday/Thursday students come both days and meet from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The Monday students meet from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

3-6th grade students may choose a minimum of 3 blocks (hour-long classes) on Tuesday/Thursday and as many as 8 blocks in which to participate. Monday 3rd graders must take 6 blocks, and 4th-6th graders must take 7 blocks.

7-8th grade students may choose a minimum of 4 blocks (hour-long classes) and as many as 8 blocks in which to participate on Tuesday/Thursday. Monday 7th and 8th graders must take 8 blocks.

Students may elect to participate in only the Tuesday/Thursday or Monday Block Program, or only the one-day per week rotation program on Wednesday or Friday; or students may be involved in a combination of programs. 

Students may be concurrently enrolled in the Mesa Distance Learning Program's
K-6 Online and the Eagleridge Enrichment Block Program.
