August

11 - Mesa Unified School District 2010-2011 school year begins

September

 6 - Labor Day Holiday - MDLP Office is closed

October

11-13 - MDLP Office is open for testing (midterm/final exams) and materials pickup

14-15 - October Break - MDLP Office is closed

26 – 8:00 a.m. AIMS writing retest for high school juniors or seniors who have not passed one or more subtests (required for students residing in Az). Click here for testing location and additional information.

27 – 8:00 a.m. AIMS reading retest for high school juniors or seniors who have not passed one or more subtests (required for students residing in Az). Click here for testing location and additional information.

November

11 - Veterans Day Holiday - MDLP office is closed

25-26 - Thanksgiving Holiday - MDLP office is closed

20-22 - Office open for testing (midterm/final exams) and materials pick up only

23-31 - Winter Break - MDLP office is closed

2011

January

  3 - MDLP office reopens after Winter Break

17 - Martin Luther King, Jr./Civil Rights Day - MDLP office is closed

February

21 - Presidents' Day Holiday - MDLP office is closed

March

 1- 8:00 a.m. - AIMS high school writing 10th grade students and juniors or seniors who have not passed this test (required for students residing in Arizona). Click here for testing location and additional information.

 2 - 8:00 a.m. - AIMS high school reading 10th grade students and juniors or seniors who have not passed this test (required for students residing in Arizona). Click here for testing location and additional information.

14-16 - Office open for testing (midterm/final exams) and materials pick up only

17-18 - Spring Break - MDLP Office is closed

22 - Last day for MPS dual enrollment and senior registrations. All dual enrollment students must enroll, pick up materials, and pay any fees no later than March 22, 2010. Summer course fees apply beginning March 23. Enrollment deadlines for graduating seniors are listed on the Graduating Seniors page.

23 - MDLP summer registration for part-time students begins. Summer course fees apply.

April

  5 – 8:00 a.m. AIMS high school math for 10th grade students and juniors or seniors who have not passed this test (required for students residing in Az). Click here for testing location and additional information.

  6 – 8:00 a.m. AIMS high school science for 9th grade students currently taking Biology and 10th grade students who have not passed this test. Click here for testing location and additional information.

11 – 8:00 a.m. Stanford 10 for 9th grade (required for students residing in Az). Click here for testing location and additional information.

11-14 – 9:00 a.m. AIMS dpa for 7th grade (required for students residing in Az). Students must test all days. Click here for testing location and additional information.

12-15 – 9:00 a.m. AIMS dpa for 8th grade (required for students residing in Az). Students must test all days. Click here for testing location and additional information.

22 - April Break - MDLP office is closed

13 - Senior deadline - all course work and final exams must be submitted for courses being considered for graduation

26 - Mesa Unified School District Graduation

30 - Memorial Day Holiday - MDLP office is closed

July

  5 - Independence Holiday - MDLP office is closed

29 - MDLP summer registration ends
