About Us:

The Mesa Public Schools Distance Learning Program for 7-12th grade students has been in existence since 1999. The K-6 Online component is an extension of this proven, and successful program, offered this year, for the first time! We believe you will find this exciting new program to be worth looking into for your homeschooling needs.

The K-6 Online Program provides parents and students with nationally renowned curriculum, by such publishers as CompassLearning, Addison-Wesley and Houghton Mifflin. The curriculum is offered online with hard copy texts, workbooks and manipulatives for students to use at home. It offers a structured, sequential method of teaching, providing parents with lesson objectives and state standards, so they can be confident that their children are receiving the highest quality of education possible.

Each K-6 Online lesson provides step-by-step activities for the students, as well as enhancements, remediations and additional activities. Students will be excited to be able to log on and get started on their lessons independently, while parents will appreciate the flexibility of being able to build in additional, creative activities and field trips.

K-6 Online and Eagleridge On-Campus are separate programs, but can work hand-in-hand. The Online Program provides reading, language arts, mathematics, science and social studies, while the On-Campus Program provides a large array of enrichment classes that include computer keyboarding, dance, musical theater, American History, art, science and P.E. Students have the option of being involved in only the Online, or only the On-Campus program, or both. If you are interested in enrolling your child, please feel free to call between 8:00-4:00 daily (480-472-3685).
