The MDLP counselor is available to review transcripts and advise full-time MDLP students and their parents about course selection as it applies to graduation requirements. Part-time MDLP students should receive advisement from their home school counselor before registering for courses.
In order to expedite the registration process, full-time students may want to contact the student's former school and have transcripts and high school AIMS scores sent to us before applying to MDLP. Transcripts may be faxed to 480-472-7287. Transcripts are not required for part-time MDLP students.
MPS students only: Students taking courses at a Mesa Public School will need to see their school counselor before registering with MDLP. The principal, counselor, or other designee will submit the online dual enrollment form.
- Read the Welcome letter
A letter welcoming you to MDLP will pop up as soon as you submit the completed registration form. Please read and print the letter for information about the next step(s) in the registration process.
- Notification by phone or email
After transcripts are reviewed (full-time students) and courses are assigned, a registrar will contact parents/students by phone and/or email. Allow up to one week after submitting the registration form for transcripts and counselor recommendations to be processed. If you have not been contacted within one week, please call one of our registrars (480-472-7290 - last names beginning with A-L or 480-472-7282 - last names beginning with M-Z) or come in to the MDLP office.
- Pick up books, materials, and the orientation packet
Students and parents who live in the East Valley and Phoenix area, will pick up materials, pay fees or deposits, receive their class schedule, and go through a brief orientation at our office in Mesa. When arriving at the MDLP office, please be aware that students and parents should park in the spaces designated for visitors, not in reserved spaces. At the time of material pick up, each student will be assigned a user ID and password to access courses online. Parents will also receive their own user ID and password to access student information through a secure Parent page. Those who live outside of the East Valley and Phoenix area will receive an orientation packet, books, materials, and user ID and password by mail.
MDLP Summer Courses - Summer course registration for part-time students begins March 25, 2008. Part-time students who enroll in courses before March 25, 2008 have until Friday, March 28, 2008 to pick up materials so that summer course fees are not assessed.
